According to a French site with image comparisons, the 2007WFP is close to the speed of the 20WMGX2, which is the fastest monitor out there in most cases.

It is well known that the 2007 has _BAD_ colors. Colors are a step ahead, my ass. banding issuess abound. Bad for gameing and worse for photoshop use. Pardon my anger but I find too many idiots around here talking about how things are on paper. If some of you didn't notice, most of us can read. We are intrested in _good_ reviews frompeople that have actually used or own it and have an eye for quality.

2005 untill Dell fixed their screwup.

xtknight was the one that wrote the LCD guide on this forum are you saying that he isn't aware of the banding issue? I was shocked to see him recomend the 2007 also, but damn it isn't like he doesn't know what he is talking about.

I agree. I wouldn't have thought xtkinght would actually recommend the 2007 over the 2005 since, I think, color banding is worst than the backlight bleeding of the 2005. But I would take his advice since he obviously has more knowledge concerning monitors than most here.

Sorry.. I have a new perspective on this. At the time of that posting I was unaware of the severity of the banding (every LCD has a little banding), and the LCD got a good review from the ExtremeTech round-up. I still recommend the ___5 series instead (which goes for any of the new ___7s).
