Better drivers for a geforce 2 GTS on a P3V4X

Which seem to be the better I have 7.17 installed now and also the 6.31 ( I think)
Its a new rig so I 'm not sure If I should back up to the 6.31's. I am trying to break the 7 k mark in 3d mark 2000 1.1. I am @ 6780 now.
Also How do I enable Sidebanding and AGP 4x. Agp Wizard wont work already tried

A bit more information would be good. You check to see the driver version by selected, display properties, settings, advanced, GeForce2 GTS tab and you will see which version your running in the system information window.

You shouldn't have both drivers installed IMO.

I'm running Detonator 6.49 as 7.17 is for DX8 and that completely wrecked my PC.

A bit more information on your setup would be nice. What OS U running, CPU, DX version, which GF2 card (ASAIK, AGP Wizard only works with Creative cards, is that what you have?) all the normal stuff.

The more info you show the better chance you will have of someone helping you. Have you got AGP 4x set in your BIOS?

I dont have both the 7.17 and the 6.31 installed at same time I have either to install and am currently using the 7.17's . I am getting ready to try the 6.47 drivers as I have been told they are about the best. I am running DX 7.0a. And win 98Se.

7.17 Detonator Drivers found HERE

I found a while ago a zip file on the web which contained a load of registry entries. One of them was a key something like "EnableAGP4x" which might be what your looking for. I'll be damned if I can find it. I'll check some backup CD's anf if I can find it i'll e-mail it to you. Perhaps someone else has got it.

You might try HERE. There's loads of cool stuff. You might also want to try THIS. It tweaks your registry, so back it up first and use it if you know what your doing.
