Better deal on Optical Drive?

I have that and I hate it. No slot loading is a pain. Also, it is too light, so you have to hold it to press the button and close the tray - everything is a two-hand operation.

I really want to replace the internal.

Oh wow. I have yet to order one... Now I have to figure something else out.
 
First, will that even fit in your 2009 mini? That drive looks to be for Early to Mid 2009 Macbook models.

I have to agree that the external DVD burner is a complete PITA. I have an external Samsung for my mini that stopped reading discs even after cleaning and it is ridiculous having to hold the drive still to do anything with it.
