Better Chipset 845GE or sis 651 in the long run for upgrades

I am considering between these 2 chipset for a motherboard. I know all of them are about the same when it comes down to installing and drivers and such. Which one of these will be better in the long run in terms of

1. Upgrades on CPU
2. Performance
3. Overclocking


for the SB51G or the SS 51G, one which is based on the Intel 845GE Chipset and another on SIS 651
