I want to upgrade from an Asus A7V133 and wonder which of these boards has a better chance hitting a 150fsb...

Thanks

don't know about the Abit KR7A, but my Epox 8KHA+ is running very stable at 201 FSB with the Beta 11/30 8KHAL00.bin BIOS. check out my system rigs for more info...

its not so much the board that is limiting you, its the components. A NIC, or sound card might crap out the FSB. You might hit a bad cpu aswell, but the boards have been hitting way over 150.

Actually on my A7V133 I think the max fsb is 146 stable at 147 and 148 I get data corruption when burning cds...my ram works at 150 as the board boot into Windows and runs but in games crash...
This is setting my Athlon 1.2 at 8 x 150...

My goal is fsb of 150 on the next board since higher starts to push pci bus pretty high...I know the epox may support pci divider of 1/5..but I really want the extra ide connectors and looking around an ATA100 adapter is $40-50..I have a new ATA133 drive from Maxtor so the Abit is a plus in this regard although I know I will not get anywhere near 133mb/sec transfer rates

The real question now is should I get Athlon XP or just wait for the throughbred...
