Better Card? PLEASE HELP!!!

I am not 100% sure, but I would think that the 9700 is a better performer. I do own the 9700 64mb on my laptop.
A Mobile 9700 is downclocked version of 9600XT, and it has the exact same performance of a desktop 9600pro.
However, I think the small 64mb memory is going to give you problems in the further because some of the newest games is starting require 128mb video cards.
