That is the same one that has been in stock ICS/JB, is it not? Looks exactly like my Nexus calendar.

I like when Google does this; having the stock Android apps as part of Google Play instead of just Android so they can be updated(and installed if your phone does not come with them) without having to wait for OTAs. Now they just need to do the camera.

It's become a separate app from the OS much like many other Google services now. This is good stuff because Google can update it separately from the OS like how they put in new Maps/Nav/Talk/Gmail/Drive/etc. features without needing to do a new OS update and also non-Nexus phones can also now use it.

Still not as good as the touchwiz one though.

I still prefer the WP7 calendar but thats life. Am gonna be moving back to Android this year, (either for the RAZR or Note 2) and while I'll be gaining a lot, I will also be giving up some things.

Now how do you get rid of the one that comes with your OS? :)
If you have root you should be able to freeze or uninstall system apps with titanium backup. Without root I don't think you can touch them.

Don't put it on the first page of the app drawer or your launcher.

If you don't see it, it's as if it's gone...

Alternatively, blindfolds work, too. Though I've heard blindfolds cause... difficulties with other apps.

Get a custom launcher and it will allow you to hide apps from the app list. I recommend Nova launcher

You dont even need that. Just make folders in the app drawer. I have one for games, one for apps I use, and another for bloatware I cant erase (there isnt much).

Yeah, I ended up doing it with Titanium Backup. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I was hoping Google would have a built-in way to do it, but that would make too much sense. :)
