Him: "Really? Thanks, man!"

Me: "Just one question...where can I contact you and when can I receive my magazines?"

Him: "Uh...you can't call me, but you can get your magazines in like a few weeks"

Me: "I need a number before I can order"

Him: "You can call this number*He points to long distance number*"

And that's how the conversation basically went...7 MONTHS AGO. I called them up today only to get a message saying. "Hello, you have reached Booknet LTD, our mailbox is full. Goodbye"

So I go online...do a little research on the company and call them up. I've never filed a complaint...but hey...it was really easy🙂 I kinda want to do it again. There are 15 complaints against the company and 21 pending. I have to wait up to 3 weeks before I get any info, but hey at least there's some progress. The lady was really kind too. She sounded HOT. Juuust kidding🙂 So I guess I'm in a win win situation here? I either get my mags, or I get my money back. All $25.00 worth🙂

I complained from Canada about UPS. Their advertising standard shipping rates to Canada are basically false, because their brokerage fees are often MUCH higher than the actual shipping rates. For instance, while the brokerage fees for the US Postal Service/Canada Post are $5, it is often $30 or more for UPS. It IS listed on the site, but hidden away in a fairly obscure area.

So I casually mentioned this on the BBB website's comment area, and a few months later I received a copy of a formal letter from the BBB to the main UPS office in Atlanta about this issue. Shortly thereafter, I received an apologetic phone call from UPS directly. I didn't want any money back so I didn't ask for any, but said I wouldn't recommend UPS until their advertising policies change. They still haven't changed, but I was glad to be heard.

i would have to say no, they dont rule, i filed a complaint and 3 months later they finally said "sorry, we cant do anything" it was a legitimate complaint as well. this Company, has an exhorberant restocking fee and expected me to pay 150 dollars for something that didnt work (but they said they did) a tbird 1ghz, w/256mb ram and KT7-RAID mb... basically it was my word against theirs, and theirs won. funny thing is, I bought the exact same setup (-50mhz for the processor) and it worked perfectly the first time i tried it....

screw pc-beyond.com and screw the BBB.
