Beta Test HP Printers - Hot!

yeah....and a lifetime of SPAM about POS products from HP and maybe even Compaq ...nah...I'll pass on this.:disgust:

Thanks Freebie Hawk mucho apprecianado.

Ceedee thats what a free internet based email service like hotmail is for. Just get a email account with them and use that to sign up for stuff that you know you will get alot of spam from. It isn't rocket science. And plus they aren't going to send tons of mail your way and if they do they are a reputable company they will have an opt out thing at the bottom of the email uncool thread crap.

<< RIPPED from FW! No credit given! SHAME! :| >>

If you have nothing better to contribute, I suggest you don't hit reply.

I remember seeing a post on this HERE a few months back, maybe some new people that are on the board are not aware of this program and wish to become eligible. So freakin' what if it's on FW as well? Maybe he saw it on his own, and didn't even see it on FW. YOU don't know that. Stop thread crapping if you have nothing better to do. Maybe you should go through ALL of the posts on the board and see which were posted on all the Hot Deals boards, and then write "No Credit Given" and see what happens.

God forbid we EVER see the same deals as FW, or some of the other boards.

Edit: Punctuation

i think the credit goes to HP... and i have a graveyard of dead HP printers, a dead 612c died after less than 6 months. a dead 682c after 2 years. and a 930c that isnt doing very well. im trying to figure out why i still buy hp

That's how these deals get noticed. A "deal" on FW might not be one here, and vice-versa. A GREAT deal deserves to be on as many forums as possible. Many FW posts are ripped directly from Anandtech, Techbargains, Ben's, Techdeals, the list goes on. I really doesn't matter where the deal came from, as long as it is something we ALL can duplicate. Obviously this one is subjective, but I have been chosen for Beta tests in the past, so it never hurts to sign up. Actually it does hurt, cuz all you AT members are lowering the odds of me getting picked, so don't sign up. HeHe.

Thanks Freebie Hawk!!

Personally I don't hunt for reposts or "ripped" posts. If it truely is a hot deal, it deserves a few posts to get noticed.
Anyone hunting to rip on others for reposts needs something better to do with their time and to leave these boards alone.

Sounds like a great deal to me.

Thanks.

Now were counting posts on other forums as reposts? Nice to know that we should now search all the forums on the web before making a new thread.

If you live in San Diego County, CA you have a good chance of becoming a Beta tester. While the rest of the world may become a Delta tester. Although I don't know if I would want to be a Beta tester as it looks like someone comes over to your house/business and watches you install the thingy. Although you may end up with $100-250. Oh well, maybe I can become a Delta Tester and get to keep the thingy that gets tested.....

my hp has been going for 6+ years now... and although I have to manually feed the paper (sometimes it doesn't suck the paper in) it's working great lol

Looks like it might be a scam...

EDIT: Then again, maybe not. The webassociates.com site shows some kind of partnership with HP. They may be running this marketing survey for HP.

I have an old Laserjet 5p and it is not a POS. This printer is the only device in our office that is six or seven years old and that we still use. It is our main printer and we have gotten a lot of use from it. Also, if you don't want to risk getting spam, click the "I don't have an email address" button.
