Windows and MacOS beta clients have been placed on the pre-release page for download. I would suggest just trying these on a few machines to check for anything out of the ordinary. We have checked and made sure that these correct the bug in v2.8012.466, but we want to make sure things are fixed.

These clients will expire in 7 days. We know that the windows client is slower than previous bilds. We will correct this for the real release agent. I could tell you the whole story behind it, but it really is nothing exciting. Just differences in compilers used...

Man, I wish the new client were already available. I have to go downdate a bunch of clients at work tommorow. Won't get another chance for severwal weeks. 🙁
 
It immediately crashed my system when I double-clicked dnetc.exe (it's reproducable). Win2K SP1, AMD Thunderbird 950, VIA KT133.

new rc5 core slighly faster, same ogr core slighly slower. will let run or rc5 for a while on a lan with pproxy 3.19. Should I throw ogr in and shuffle between ?
