Bet on Soldier mp not working....

I just downloaded the multiplayer demo for bosd but when i press scan for servers or connect the game freezes and forces me to reboot. I tried like 10 times already wtf? do i need to download gamespy's servers? that would be really stupid for them not to include the option to dl it during the installation or at least prompt you to do so.

Sounds like the network operations are freezing your PC. Maybe a software firewall is interfering, you don't see its message and your PC feels frozen? That used to happen to me all the time.
