Other than the $59.90 annual fee I'm trying to see if it's worth it?

Have any of you used or know about BestFares.com?

I'm trying to find the lowest airfare for a roundtrip ticket departing PDX arriving in BHM on 10/11/2002 leaving 10/13/2002 for 3 or 4 adults.

The lowest fare I found on Orbitz.com is with Delta airlines $271 roundtrip includes all the fees/taxes which isn't bad but not really hot either.

My next option is to try PriceLine.com with the help of BiddingForTravel.com but I don't understand how either of these websites work :(

$271 with a connection in cincy seems to be the norm.

Unless you'd like them to travel PA Transport! "Anytime, anywhere, just via Dell box!"

Dear Lord, I cant believe I just typed that.

No I'll probably do that, I was hoping to get tickets for $230 per person including taxes/security/fees.

I have used Best Fares before and had no problem. The only catch is that you kind of have to take the time of departure they give you, but I think you can narrow it down to Am or Pm. The annual fee is the only other catch, but the savings I got from them quickly paid for that. Now, I have only used them once (just because I haven't had to travel since then), so maybe it was a lucky shot. But I enjoyed their services and would recommend them. I really can't find any site that has better offers than they do.

Thanks, that sucks if I can't choose my departure/arrival time but the savings may be worth the annual fee.

BestFares was a subscriber-only publication long before it was a web site. Tom Parsons could actually teach you a thing or two about deal hunting. And that's all it is. Deal hunting. Buy this pack of golf balls, get that plane ticket for $50. He just puts it all together in a nice package.
