Does anyone know if they can bring up receipts in the past if you used your rewards card with that purchase?

need to RMA something and yea I don't have the receipt. FML

I don't think any place will get you a copy of your receipt if you paid cash, I don't see how this would be a reason to hate shopping at best buy?

If you're certain you used your rewards card I'd try giving them a call. They may have a record of it that way.

edit : I meant that any place could pull up a lost receipt - Also I just realized Costco could probably do it, REI I think can as well. I don't know if the Best Buy Reward zone is as indepth as their memberships but it's your best shot. Good luck.

Yes, they can. I've had them do it before.

In most cases, Best Buy is able to locate receipts for customers if they paid by credit card, used a Reward Zone card, or purchased a Geek Squad Black Tie Protection Plan (GSBTP). Cash transactions are difficult to find as they do not link to any of your personal information in our systems.

If you used Reward Zone, they can look it up. And yeah, no company can look up receipts if you just used cash, magic does not exist.

It wouldn't be magic, they'd just have to take down your accurately provided information at time of sale and associate it with your transaction.

Perhaps they could do this via some kinda of card..that gives you rewards! 😉
