BestBuy question

i bought a printer/scanner from BB at the black friday sale in november that just decided to kill itself (scanner isnt recognized by windows anymore). will bestbuy let me exchange it for a new one, or would i have to send it back to the manufacturer?

Manufacturer. Printers only carry 30 day warranty from Best Buy.

See, you should have purchased that "over-priced" product protection plan. In some cases, the plan would allow you to return the scanner to the store and exchange it for a new one.

naw they'll most likely tell you they'll send it out for repair.
you'll be out of the printer/scanner for atleast a month or two
get it back and it still craps out and they'll tell you that you are SOL
