bestbuy price match policy

If compusa has a 10% off everything sale on sunday and monday only, will bestbuy match that price? the item in question is the creative abs t5400 speaker system, which sells for 99.99 at bestbuy, but it's only 89.99 at compusa for 2 days, would bestbuy match that?

Depends on who you deal with. They will match the $89.99, but it depends on who you deal with if they they do the additional 10%.

just buy it at best buy and then head over to returns/exchanges with the compusa ad. show them the lower price and they should give you 110% of the difference or $11 off.

Last time I went to Best Buy to try and do a price match for Mario Party 5 they told me that the item has to be available at the store where the item was advertised. I bought the video game before Christmas and Target had it on sale after Christmas. I took the ad to Best Buy showing the clerk that Target has that same game at 10% off but when they called the local Target store they didn't have any in stock so they wouldn't/couldn't do the price match.

I think some of the people here might have misunderstood you. Either that or I'm misunderstanding. I'm assuming you mean both CompUSA and BestBuy are selling something for $100. CompUSA has the 10% off coupon that works instore, so if you were to use that the product woudl be $90 at CompUSA, and you want to know if BB will match that.

I tried this exact thing on my Radeon9800 pro yesterday. I ordered it from their warehouse a couple days ago, and printed out the 10% off coupon to BB yesterday. The guy says no at first, saying you need an actual coupon. I tell him, well on the coupon, it says you need to PRINT this coupon out to use it in store, so obviously it's an internet coupon that works in store. He asks one of the "supervisors" who says no. I say ok, can you go check if my 9800 pro has arrived yet. He dissapears for a second, comes back and says it's not here but manager says I can pricematch it.

Cashier somehow ends up with 266.99 (299.99 - 10% isn't 266.99 iirc), but I was successfully able to PM the 10% off coupon, but it was a YMMV.
