Here is how to get it for $40:

Text

1) Go to Best Buy and price match CompUSA to bring price down to $80
2)Go to link above and print out $40 Mail-In-Rebate.

This comes to $0.20 a gig.

Customers who receive a price match, of any type, will not be eligible for the rebate. Those who receive a rebate and later receive a price match, will have the value of the rebate deducted from the price match.

Taken straight from the rebate. YMMV.

Original poster should change the thread title.

This is not the same as when you price match at other stores.

Best Buy now has 'no rebate with PM' on the receipt itself + the cash register screen has a pop up that requires the cashier to tell you this verbally.

There is no way to argue or say anything if/when the rebate gets denied.

The detailed receipt disclaimer covers everything. It even addresses people bringing the item for a PM after the purchase was made, not just at the time of purchase.
