Does anyone else here work for Bestbuy? I was wondering if everyone's discount on merchandise is the same, at the one I work at we only get cost.

From what I remember, my discount was something like cost +5%...so looks like you're getting better deals than I did. Then again, the only thing I ever really bought (besides a cell phone) was a TV, and you usually don't get anything off on those.

Sears discount, IIRC, was only 10% -- which shouldn't be actual cost.

Sears is actual price minus 10% as Rob stated.

 
Man, that's a sweet deal.
I work at Staples and we get one day every two months when they give us 10% off anything in electronics. Any other time and it's just the normal price a customer would pay.
