And when you cancel call back again a couple days later and make sure it is cancelled.
I am so pissed off at MSN. I called in to cancel my account and the nice lady said they were having computer problems. Eventually she said that she had finished - my account was cancelled, I received two months worth of credit, etc.
Two months later I look at my bank statement and see it is
still on there! So I called in and the CSR said they had no record of my prior call, yadda yadda, can't do anything, if you want a refund you have to send all your bank records to this Microsoft address and just hope they give you one but it isn't very likely.
Talk about crappy service. Obviously it was partially the first CSRs fault because she lied about cancelling my account (or their computer system had one big huge glitch). Needless to say I'm never going to join MSN again or recommend it to anyone.
Your experience will vary - just make sure you cancel at least twice
