My temps (Iddle) were 58C with the case closed! 56C case opened and 51 to 52 with a "powerfull" floor fan blowing the PC. Full load they went up to 80C. Using the Guru3d Beta 71. something drivers.

I used the original XFX drivers and the new temp with the case opened its 52C but with the fan it goes to 47C like in 2 minutes then sometimes hits 46C. I think that 47C compared with the original 58C its ok. Check the drivers that came with the card and post if they cool the card a bit (like 4C).

Any experience with homemade cooling. I used a tiny 6" fan directly to the card and worked ok but this "homedepot style" iron fan cools it like 2C more.
