Best xfire midrange card?

I have decided to go for the hd3870 as I am not up for waiting for one componemt to come in stock, and I want the possibility to get xfire at some point, whats the best motherboard to get in the ASUS P5K price range, I wont be doing alot of OC, might give it 2-600 mhz but nothing crazy

And this is of course if amd phenom dont surprice bigtime 🙂
 
I cant see if the DS3R have crossfire? Gigabyte GA-G33-DS3R is what you refere to right?

Is it possible to fit corsair dominator and a scythe infinity on the boards?
