I do lots of writing too. The keyboard (along with the screen too) are very important.
If you read reviews of laptops, then you will see that Lenovos keep coming up mentioned as featuring bestin-class keyboard.

Depending on your situation, there also are other factors such as size, weight & battery life, number and kinds of i/o ports, etc.
It's very complex and ultimately personal.
My advice is to go to some of the various brick & mortar stores & try out any notebook before as part of your purchase decision.
Keep in mind though that if you are doing lots and lots of typing/writing, then you're probably not moving around so a good usb keyboard can be used. One of my favorites is the old Fujitsu Model FKB4725 series and which is coveted by serious writers.
PS: One of the things I really like too about Lenovo is that the manufacturer makes ALL their laptop software and manuals available from an easy to use website. Cant say enough about them.
