Best / worst car products you've used?

Ok, so we've all used our fair share of products on our vehicles over the years. Some a great, and plenty of them suck. Share the ones that impressed you.

Best:
Stoner Invisible Glass (sprayable aerosol). I used it on the inside of my windshields every few months. I've used Windex / other glass cleaning products, plain water, etc. Nothing seems to do as good of a job as this stuff does.

Worst:
Stoner Invisible Glass wipes. They worked ok in an emergency (someone managed to splash the inside of my windshield with a flavored coffee, even after wiping it up with paper towels it was impossible to drive back home at night), but otherwise they just dry up too fast and leave smudges all over the windshield.

I went to buy some more Invisible Glass yesterday and all they had was the damn spray bottles, no cans. I bought it thinking it would be the same, but it is not. The can stuff foams up slightly, this is just like a mist. Doesn't seem to work nearly as well.

RainX does work well. I just normally forget to use it.

Eagle One wheel cleaner. I'll be damned but that stuff really does work as advertised. I had some incredibly filthy wheels and its foaming action does work well.

Clay bar (I don't think the brand matters). I am sold on these. Yesterday I even had some acoustic sealant on my vehicle and the thing took it off when I could think of nothing else to do it (other than paint thinner).

+1 for Stoner's Invisible Glass aerosol can

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is GREAT for cleaning heavily soiled wheels, though you'll want to be careful with highly polished wheels.

And let's not forget the ubiquitous brake cleaner. Not only is it excellent at cleaning brakes, but about damn near any other metal part that is caked or coated.

And in that same vein, PB Blaster!!! Nuff said

Probably the only "worst" product I've ever used (far before I became enlightened about proper vehicle cleaning) was one of those waxes (made by Turtle Wax I think) that was supposed to add depth to your paint's color, where you picked the wax for your car's general color. It might have brightened up my 93 Concorde's dark green paint just a bit, but I noticed later when I was drying or waxing with a different brand that the "extra green" was coming off on the pad/towel. Laaammmeeeeeeeee

Agree about the PB Blaster.... Good stuff.

One of the worst I can think of is the Permatex green brake caliper lube..

I had no idea servicing brakes was normal every 4-6 months (it would dry up and almost seize the pins) until I started using Sil-Glyde on my brake parts. Now I just know when the pins are due to be serviced by when the pedal starts to get firmer..

Not sure if you guys in the U.S. can get it... but Spray Nine is absolutely awesome cleaner. That stuff is so good you can spray a shot on an interior with a grease stain, and pretty much wipe it right off. I love Spray Nine.

Can't really list any really bad products as I tend to do a lot of research before picking stuff up, but there is one that I regret buying - Autoglym wheel cleaner (regular, I think). It works fairly well in that nearly all the brake dust and dirt get washed away without having to scrub, but I used up nearly the entire spray bottle in one go (four wheels). Not a good use of $10.
