Factor in these what is the best currently on the market ?

1. Range
2. Speed
3. least amount of dropped connections

Figure some of you have gone through several models already and could share your opinion.

I just bought the D-Link 624. I would say that the range is about 100 or so feet, well it's far enough to cover my whole house. Speed is definitely good, max speed is supposed to be 108mbps, but you have to buy the wireless dlink card otherwise the max you can get is 54mbps. That's only if you have a wireless g card. I rarely get dropped connections with this router but it does happened. My best guess would be maybe 1 dropped connectiong every couple of weeks or so. But other than that it's the best router I've had.

MUCH success with SMC 2804wbg and BUffaloTech G series of wifi routers. Buffalo is real nice. Set up 5 SMC's and all going strong!

I swear by SMC for consumer grade routers, both wired and wirelss. They are easy as hell to setup and are rock solid. D-Link would probably be my second choice. I will never buy anything Linksys again, i had 3 of their wireless routers go into the crapper within a couple months.
