I don't regularly read this forum so I may be missing some good threads about this already; sorry.

My Linksys WRT54G router died on me this morning after 2+ years of service. No power, nothing... just dead.

I need to buy a replacement today at a brick and mortar.

What I need:
At least wireless G capability
At least 4 ports for wired computers
At least WEP and WPA encryption options.

Preferrably something that has a nice array of customizable features in the control panel.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

My vote would be for another WRT54G, pretty cheap with a nice array of features. I've had mine on without a single reboot for 2 weeks now.

I would vote for another WRT54G as well. Does what you want at a fair price and has to be one of the all time top routher. Not to mention many 3rd party firmwares that offer lots more feature than the stock version.

Have you tried another A/C adaptor for your current WRT54G. I thought my WRT54G died a few weeks ago as well, but come to find out that it was the A/C. Pickup up another one from radioshack and I was back up.
