Best wireless router for a laptop and a desktop?

I have been looking around for a wireless system and i would like to get a whole setup for my laptop (integrated B... i think its B) and for my dsktop. I would use the desktop for gaming so i think i would go directly to the router (assuming can do that with no wireless card). The laptop will be used for playing videos on my tv and for use at my school. Ease of use it key as im not the most skilled with networking. Range isnt too much of a concern (60 feet max). I have been siding with a linksys or microsoft router. Cost is a concern and i am considering buying used, opinions on that would be good too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I didnt really find a post that answered all my questions after a search so i thought i would ask here now.

Best, and Cost is a concern. Nah!

Best is Cisco more then $300.
