Best Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse

Is the Logitech V500 the best wireless optical notebook mouse or is Microsoft's 4000, 6000, or another company's better? The V500 is currently available at Amazon for $29.88 AR shipped. Link

I have the Microsoft 6000 wireless notebook mouse. It is simply the best mouse i have ever used (yes, better than any desktop mouse i have ever used). I would get it over logitech because of the unwanted stuff that can be installed off of logitech cds and i like the microsoft software much better. If i were you, i would go with the 6000. 1000 dpi laser tracking is plenty for anything you need and the microsoft drivers seem to be a little better. It also has an awesome scroll wheel: it feels like you are scrolling air. Its completely silent, which is much better than annoying loud scrollers. Overall, i don't think there is a better notebook mouse.

$34.99 before and $29.99 after rebate. Linkage. I disagree with all the reviews: clicking is a breeze for me... Then again i click pretty fast and maybe hard i dunno.

I would definitely get it over the logitech. People seem to assume logitech is the best when its just not the case. For desktop mice, the G7 is hard to beat but i have to go with the 6000 for a notebook mouse...

And who are you to say that? You've used one MS mouse. Have you used the V500?

I'm not trying to defend anything, I'm just pointing out that you are probably not qualified to say whether something is the best or not, but thank you for your input on the MS mouse.

Biggest complaint I've heard about the V500 is that there's no scroll wheel, so you can't middle click.

If your laptop had BT module, go with the BT mouse. Saving you 1 USB port and its cool to have a mouse that is not so common.

PS. I use the Kensington Bluetooth PilotMouse
