best wireless network card for gaming?

preferably not too expensive? i currently own a wmp600n which lags me like crazy in everything, not just gaming.

The lag probably has more to do with signal issues due to noise/distance than the type of wireless card.

What is your signal like? What do you mean lag? Slow download speeds?

the wireless card is literally 5 metres away from the router and everything lags. though the router is directly upwards. but my laptop gets better reception and speeds in the same location
