best wireless keyboard/mouse combo

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best wireless keyboard/mouse combos out there?

I'm looking for something to hook up to my HTPC.

My biggest problem, and only requirement is that the receiver must be USB only (I don't have any PS2 keyboard or mouse ports).

I would prefer a mouse with good tracking and fast response times for the occasional FPS. Bonus points for something with a keyboard that has extra mappable keys and multimedia controls.

I see a lot of logitech and microsoft combos out there... but I cannot seem to figure out if they can run off a single USB port or if they need a PS2 port as well....

Any advice would be appreciated...

I've heard that the MX3100 is good from Logitech.... and I think you should be able to run it off USB only (although you probably need 2).

EDIT: I think it might need a PS/2 port... maybe an adapter then?

EDIT2: I think the Logitech S510 might run off USB only.

If money isn't an issue and you're willing to get a ps/2 -> usb converter, I'd say go for the logitech dinovo. Seems ideal for an HTPC since you can use the number pad as a remote on it's own, of course it's a tad pricey in comparison to some other combos, and it has a ps/2 and usb connector, but you can get around it.

Get a Logitech Cordeless Trackman Wheel...since you'll be moving the "mouse" with your thumb (which takes 1-2 weeks to get used to), you won't need a surface to game / surf on. Think of it - you can surf while leaning backwards on the couch with the mouse in your lap. I'll NEVER go back to a "mouse pad" type of mouse. I've been using this setup for months, and I love it...

...there's one hitch. The Cordless Trackman Wheel has a USB connect BUT uses an RF wireless connection...6 feet will be the limit. I use a USB extension to run the mouse transceiver under the couch...but its still not as good as a Bluetooth version would be. As far as keboard - who cares, except that you'll want wireless, and you'll probably want it backlit, so that you can see where you're typing during surfing / movies.
