I keep running over the damned cords over and over, which eventually break the wires. I want to buy a pair of wireless phones, but I fear that they would have totally disgusting sound.

Anyone know a good pair (less than 80 bucks?) that they can recommend? I'd like something that just sounds crisp, with a nice low end.

I've never used wireless phones before, what can I realistically expect from them? FYI, I have a LOT of wireless devices in my home, from 900MHz - 5.4GHz, I have already thrown away a wireless dlink router due to interference problems... :(

Those HD 280 Pros have amazing sound, I've got a pair that have lasted me several years.

I have the Senny RS-110s.

They aren't very high end, but they do have good sound & great range.

Only slightly annoying thing is that if you're doing something on the PC that makes absolutely no noise for a while, they tend to tune into phone calls from all over my apartment

Minor issue though, since i'm usually listening to music or doing something that makes sound on the PC.

This is the same problem I have. I've ruined so many pairs of headphones by yanking the wire too hard at some point.

Are those 5.1 headphones worth it? Will they work on an Audigy card for gaming purposes?

Although I use my box mainly for music listening, I would think it'd be kinda neat to have 5.1 since having speakers is not an option for me. (no room for anything)
