While I can't comment on the price/performance, my Ouroboros is the best mouse I've ever had hands down. I've had many of the mice off the stupid "God Tier" chart thing with "perfect sensors" and a cult following. All of them except the Deathadder I've given away because their sensors suck balls for low sensitivity gaming. The Deathadder I gave away because it doesn't quite fit my hand, and the cord kept getting snagged because of the massive distance it has to travel on my Xtrac XXL.

Is the mouse perfect? Definitely not. It is a bit heavy since it has to hold the battery and it's a Razer Product which means it's going to break every year, but it is a hell of a lot better than anything Zowie, Microsoft, or Logitech when it comes to raw sensor performance. I haven't tried Steelseries or Cooler Master mice, but their Enotus tests are a joke.

That review is meaningless. All they can say about its performance is "It’s both accurate and versatile, thanks to Logitech’s Darkfield Laser Tracking technology." What a waste of everybody's time. I was able to dig this up looking for an actual test or a comparison
First, so it's clear, I am Logitech's gaming mouse product manager.

The Performance MX will feel slightly more sluggish and less responsive, due mainly to the lower sensor frame rate and lower wireless/USB report rate. I would point out, though, that even despite this difference many many people have no problem with the responsiveness of Performance MX for FPS gaming. The G700 does edge it out in terms of performance, though. Additionally, the macro capabilities of the G700 are much better than the Performance MX.

I love my G700s. Battery life could be a bit better, but it's been an awesome mouse. I can't even tell it's wireless and tracking has been stellar. I love the on they fly DPI adjustments as well.

I've stumbled across an actual review of the g700s and may need to redact my original statement saying Logitech is crap. To be fair, it is posting far higher numbers than any of their previous flagship mice when I was originally shopping around. If the numbers are true, the G700s is definitely a stellar mouse and would get my recommendation.

Enotus can be a bit finicky, so I don't want to draw conclusions from a single source. Do you think you could give us a 10 second or so run with the "MouseTester" program in this software suite. The ZippyShare link is the only one that actually works.

Try to go back and forth, starting off slowly and progressively increasing the speed until it malfunctions such as this:

Set the plot type to xyVelocity vs Time. I wouldn't mind an actual thread dedicated to this so we could get some actual info on different mice.

I followed your instructions more than the software instructions, but I couldn't make it break no matter how fast I tried to flick it back and forth. I hope I did this right:

That's with it set to 1200DPI and 1000Hz polling rate. I always use that polling rate and adjust my DPI on the fly in game to what feels best. My current settings go from 200DPI to 3200DPI, but it will go up to around 8000DPI if you want.

Second the Logitech G602. I've heard overall good things about it and it has great battery life.

I wore out two of those Razer Diamondbacks.

Logitechs are nice but in any fps game I will take a Razer first.
