Ive got a media PC running in the master bedroom that Im hoping to record TV with. It seems to work nciely but now Id like to be able to control it from the bed some 15-20 feet away. Ive got an MS wireless keyboard 1000 combo that doesnt seem to work very well and I cant seem to figure out the Media center remote for all the programs Im running.

What is the best Keyboard\mouse combo for this type of setup?? Is there any way to use the media center remote like a mouse and move the cursor around or do i need another device as well??

Any help is appreciated!!!!

Gyration makes a lot of cool wireless products. Their mouse is especially handy, you move your hand around to control the mouse. I had one of the first generation ones and it worked very well. If these are a bit expensive, you should be able to find one of the older sets for $40 or so refurbished.

I use the ATI remote wonder pro. It was $9.99 from tekgems, and the large pad on it lets you move the cursor around. I've gotten plug-ins for all the programs I use, which has made everything pretty simple to use. The only complaint is that it double clicks automatically sometimes. for keyboard/mouse..i'd go with the gyration...I really like how light and small the keyboard is.

Can any of ATI's remote wonders control the TV through IR in addition to controlling the PC through RF or bluetooth?
