Best Wireless Controller To Use With PC?

Hey guys,

So I'm thinking about getting a controller for the new Tomb Raider game that was just released. Would my best bet be to just stick with one of the official 360 ones?

I've also heard good things about Logitech and Razer offerings, but I have no idea if game compatibility is an issue across different hardware producers. Any thoughts?

The 360 controller is hard to beat. I'm sure there are others out there, but I've always been happy with mine and getting it to work properly is a non-issue.

I've got my 360 wireless controller hooked up via a USB 'dongle' if you will.

Works flawlessly, but every time I disconnect the 'dongle', I have to manually set it up in Win 7(choose driver from list). Known issue, and no big deal once you know what to do.

Yup, wireless 360 controller. Honestly, it is the only controller to get as most if not all developers have that controller mapped off the bat.

Tomb Raider plays fine with a kb/m just a heads up if that is why you are interested in buying a controller. I've played for about 7 hours so far and never once even thought about picking up my controller to start playing.

At this point, there is no reason to use any other controller than the 360 one. heck, with Tomb Raider, I think it's far better to play with one, it basically turns into "360 mode with prettier graphics". The game completely changes to a controller UI which is awesome when I game on my TV.

Hmm maybe this is my problem. I didn't play for over a year on my controller and suddenly it didn't work. I thought it was broken.
