Unless you use something like this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833315075

For PCI this is a very good choice.

Edimax - PCI http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833315041

Driver/Utility for Windows 98SE/Me/2K/XP/XP 64/Vista/Vista 64

what are those things? i've never even heard of that brand.

i'm nto sure if you're seriously saying those are good or you're just joking

Verizon gave my parents this Actiontec router with only WEP encryption, so what I did was turned off wireless on the Verizon router/modem and set up the old router as a dumb wireless access point with WPA2 encryption. The Verizon modem/router still handles DHCP and that way, the TV guides and other cable box features aren't screwed up. As far as good wireless cards - I'd trust what Jack recommended

I have one of those, and it's pretty good. I would definitely recommend it.

I've got 2 of those and they're also recommended.

I bought one of these a while back. The antenna isn't as nice, but it's also a decent card.
