What is the best tasting wine in your opinion

I say Chianti, (maybe because that is what I am having right now 😉 )

Depends what for - I cannot just say one is better than the other as it would totally depend if its on its own (rarely) or with food.. and if its with food, what kind of food.

However, if I had to give a generic answer:

Red - Jacobs Creek Shiraz (Australian)
White -Summerhill Gewurztraminer (Canadian)

For me, my favorite is Auxey-Duresses (red). I'm also highly partial to Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. For white, I'd say my preferred one now is from Alsace, specifically probably a Tokay Pinot Gris. I prefer French wine simply because I know it much better than anything else.

For Chianti, I highly recommend the Ruffino Chianti Classico which comes with a gold foil label. That's the best one I've ever had, somewhere around $30/bottle. I can't get it here, but I had it a few times in the States several years ago.

Cabernet Malbec

Best producer of this variety: Monichino wines, Goulburn Valley, Victoria AU$16 . I love Australia!🙂

Franzia. It comes in a box, unlike all those crappy wines in bottles. How much better can you get? 😉

I'm not a drinker but I had a glass of Merlot on a date last week... it was quite tasty.
