Best Winamp Version

I've been using winamp a bit recently, and was wondering which is the best version. I'm currently using 5.05, but I've heard a lot of people who believe other 2.x versions are better, like 2.80, 2.91, 2.95, etc. Which is the best version to use for just mp3 listening?

I am using 5.04 Lite. I can't stand the extra garbage in the full version. Before that I was using 2.8, which was good.

I had been a fan of 2.91 for a long time, but Winamp5 Lite (classic mode of course) without all the crap installed is now what I use.

i'm using 5.05. nothing's wrong w/ it. if u small RAM footprint, use 2.91. i think version 5 also has some features 2.91 doesn't have like tray control and global hotkeys and media library. i personally love the last 2 features.

havent used it in over 3 years. i think my favorite version was around 2.4 or 2.5 before all the crap that got added into it.

I had always used Winamp since.....forever. I hated the bloated crap that was Winamp3. I'm a big fan of version 5, however, and couldn't get by without the media library.

bump for 2.91 or 2.666, the little known version that got replaced quickly.

I use windows media player because I like its media library, and foobar for the unsupported formats. I always found that Winamp's media library was a little weak facing the competition.

Why do a lot of poeple use 2.91 instead of 2.95? I use 2.95 . . ..
