Some of those are very good games, but Rune Factory is the only one above 7.0 that is a Wii game. The rest are virtual console. Shining Force is the best of them, but it's a Genesis/Megadrive SRPG. BOF2 is the best straight RPG on there, and it's an SNES game.

Slim pickins for Wii RPGs. Rune Factory is out there if you like that sort of thing. Symphonia 2 is an average-to-below average action RPG. Um...unless you get into action adventure games like Okami and Zelda, that's pretty much the end.

Yeah, the Wii doesn't have any good traditional RPGs.

Rune Factory is like Harvest Moon with some repetitive dungeon grinding..

There is Super Paper Mario, but they removed the majority of the RPG elements typical of the paper mario series for this Wii entry, I guess to make it more accessible. As such, I thought it was pretty lame, but I think it has a decent metacritic score.

The current gen is lacking any good RPGs really.

The best two I've played so far are Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon.

However, calling them RPGs might be a bit of a stretch.

Only on the wii. PS3 and 360 have a few good JRPGs and some Western RPGs like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3. The PS2 is still the console to buy for JRPGs though.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is a pretty good rpg game for the wii. I would also recommend Tales of Symphonia from the game cube as well

While there are some decent WRPGs, none of the current gen JRPGs have impressed me. I've played all of the well rated ones, and they were all uninspired and lackluster. I can't imagine that the poorly reviewed ones could be any better...

I know, I know. Although I want to, I actually haven't played it, and I'm sure it isn't what the OP had in mind when he said JRPG.

More like a JWRPG :p

If you're willing to get a Virtual Console game, get Super Mario RPG. You will not be dissappointed.
