I'm looking for the best 24" to 26" LCD I can buy in the $400 price range. Must be able to handle gaming (Crysis / GTA 4), and Blu- Ray movies. Not necessarily at max resolutions - but playable and watchable.
I have a 9600gt card, and a HD-4670 card - I'm not sure how important video card quality is in selecting a monitor.
Advice please...

Well, it's a little bigger than you mentioned, but Newegg has the HannsG 28" for $370. Got mine about 5 months ago for $500 (grumble grumble) and I'm quite happy with it. Even with it hanging off an IOGear DVI kvm switch, the picture is still great. It's only 4 eggs in the reviews, but I love mine. Tryin to convince the wife I need dual monitors... but of course if I go to a dual monitor 4 port DVI kvm switch, I'm gonna need to sell a kidney. :/

You'll need a good video card for the higher resolutions you will be using on the 24"+ monitor. I have the Samsung 2443bw 24'' monitor and love it. http://www.ncix.com/products/i...AA&manufacture=Samsung (click the American flag to get US prices)

A little higher then $400, but it is awesome. Just look up what you should look for in a monitor and reviews for what you are interested in before you buy.

ZzZ looks like they're running a special http://www.ncixus.com/products...Samsung#Specifications
I have until the 20th to talk myself out of it - LOL. Looks like what I want. How does NCIXUS compare to New Egg as far as customer service goes?

Reseller Ratings gives them a 8+. Cool. They accept PayPal - cool. Just need to check shipping costs and its ON :)

Thanks to all...
