I remember being under 21 and being told I had to have a parent's credit card or some such..can't remember if the minimum was 21 or 25 though. I was going to see my gf in Nacogdoches and her dorm did not allow guys to stay the night.

However, as Gibson pointed out and I figured out at such an early age was to CALL and ask

I liked "Unforgiven" quite a bit.

Lots of hotels and rental car agencies have age limits to protect themselves from younger people, because they are at high risk (for cars) and tend to throw parties in hotels. (I know I did back in HS, so I may part of the reason they don't allow younger people to rent hotel rooms.)

Where did my post go? That was strange...

Another reason is, lots of hotels have honor bars containing alcohol. (Just a guess.)
