I think the Vista model mentioned in the above post is actually nicer, basically the same camra, but the Vista comes w/better software and has a serial connector vs. usb for the 3Com, but was another $100. or so more than the Home Connect....!

That was last year when I purchased my 3Com ............. you could do a search on www.pricewatch.com/ .....................???

I have an Intel Pro which I was lucky to get for half-price. It is sluggish for motion and the image quality is a little lacking as well as the colors are not as accurate as could be.

heng1028 - The best video quality is going to be a true video camera. Better yet, a digital video camera...a webcam doesn't even compare. If you want high quality, on a budget, get a used video camera and go with the video card with video in. Can't be beat.
