Best webcam?

I didn't know whether to post this in Peripherals or Video, so I chose ATOT 😀

I need a mega awesome webcam for my classes I will be attending this year. We'll use them to have weekly meetings online. It needs to be very clear and have a good framerate. I have never, ever researched webcams before so I have no idea what I'm even looking for. Suggestions?

microsoft VX-6000 if you don't mind paying $100. Its supposed to do 640x480@ 30fps video.

$100 doesn't sound that bad. My current webcam is crap and it was $20.

MS' training says that its supposed to be OMGL337H4><0rZ!!!!!111111oneoneoneoneoneoneoneonoeneonehundredeleven but I haven't personally used one so YMMV.

I'm looking at a Logitech Fusion on the egg right now. It looks pretty good.

Yeah, thats another good one, basically as long as you stick with the major brands and don't get some labtec crap, you should be okay.

If you have a video camera around, you could hook that up via a cheap tv card.

actually, i've heard good things about apples iSight. a bit expensive and apple doesn't make them anymore but if you can find them, i've heard that they're really really good.
