best webcam for ~$50 ?

i've only had one webcam in my life, and it was a crappy logitech quick cam, that was $40... is this the best camera you can get for that price?

i need it for motion video capture (security camera)

all cameras seem to be the same VGA size, so i don't see why some are $25, yet some are $200... of course those have like face recognition, but i just need one that records video

ADS, Siig, and Hauppauge make some nice Cameras and the newer Logitechs aren't that shabby any more but I have found that by using my old 8mm/VHS camera along with software I can time lapse and movement activate on tape.
