Best web editing graphics card?

Any options out there for a graphics card that will be preferred for just doing web based graphics and programming? stuff like flash, phtoshop, dreamweaver, etc. A lot of menus popping in and out in other words, but no 3d stuf that i can think of. Just a workstation so no games either.
I know the matrox line is renound for their 2d graphics support, but does the current readeons hold any weight? no reviews for the workstation sorts i can find 🙁

As has been the case for years- if all you care about is 2D then Matrox is the way to go. What kind of monitor setup are you working with? If you have several large monitors then I lean even more heavily towards a Matrox part, if you are dealing with a single 19" and working at mid res(1280x1024 or lower) or you are using DVI then it really won't make a big difference as Matrox's edge doesn't show up until you hit the extremes and for DVI based displays particularly, any one of the board will drive a DVI monitor with nigh identical quality(with DVI you have no DACs so no signal degredation).

I think maybe you have to be a really picky person to notice the difference between any of the "good" cards these days. I do a lot of coding (php, perl, etc.) and some graphics web work and can't really tell the difference. I suppose if I were a graphics designer using primarily Photoshop type apps, then I might notice the difference, but I doubt it.

I suppose for me a good monitor is more important than the video card. Refresh rates are also important, make sure whatever card you get will give you lots to play with on your monitor, otherwise you might end up with headaches. I get that problem if I spend too many days and hours in front of the pc sometimes.
