Best Web Browsers for memory??

Gunnar

Well, Im using Mozilla Firebird right now, and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, it also takes an extraordinary amount of resources, and I cant have it running on my development machine at work.

Any ideas? It must have tabbed browsing, with a memory footprint no bigger than 15-20 megs....

Opera 7.11. you can set how much mem it uses up. i have mine set so its onlu like 15-20

if you dont like opera get Crazy Browser. its an addon for IE works well

Firebird itself doesn't use too much memory. It seems like a lot because the memory cache is set very high for better performance. You can turn this down or completly off if you wish.

Instuctions how to do it can be found HERE
