Best weather app for android

Ummm...Google Now? I haven't needed a dedicated weather app since Google Now appeared.

I'm not a fan of how they do the hourly forecast. It pushes you to weather.com which gives you a slider that you have to scroll. Apps like WeatherBug will give you an hourly breakdown in a table where you can see multiple hours together at one time.

Gotcha I see.

Whoa, now you just wait a cotton pickin' second pcslookout. You mean to tell me you couldn't just walk down the hall at your employer (you know, Goog's), and figure it out yourself? You know, sort of an in person, human LMGTFY, right in the very halls of Google HQ? Whoa.

Arcus is the best but the interface looks like crap. Really hope Dark Sky comes for Android. forecast.io is unbeatable if you're in the US. It's a bit more unreliable in other parts of the world though.

Weather Timeline utilizes forecast.io

I use Weather Timeline, Yahoo Weather and Authentic Weather. Yes, I actually have all three installed on my phone and refer to them all regularly.

Doesn't matter which app or widget you use as long as the host is accurate and updates frequently. It also depends on where you live.

Where I live local weather info is more than enough accurate for me to not look at any of these apps, but if I were to choose one I would choose Weather Underground as host. I know that Yahoo weather app uses them as host (along with others), so that would be my choice.

What he said.

Dedicated weather apps are for people that want to view extra details like radar, widgets, and such, which I have absolutely no interest in. Just show me the weather for the day/week with an hourly forecast, along with temperature and I'm good.
