So I get home and turn on the boob tube and the travel channel is doing this hotdog show.

Now I've got a craving for a good hot dog. I'm about to head out and grab some supplies. Any recommendation? What's a good hot dog brand?

Griddle. Served with onions, mustard, and hot dog sauce.

Deep frying them is also good.

One of the best hot dog joints ever.

That looks totally nasty. No wonder they call it the all the way sauce, it passes right through your disgest system w/o stopping. Explosive diarrhea anyone?

I always put a whole bunch of stuff on my hot dogs. Sometimes I wrap them with bacon too :D

I tried some Nathan's for the first a couple days ago and boy are those good. We put them on the BBQ and added mustard and onions and I was really impressed. I had heard of Nathan's before but never tried them.

Any other brands I should try?

Where can you buy Nathan's hotdogs? I never noticed them in retail chain supermarkets.

Poke holes in it, boil it, and if you want it crunchy then toss it on a skillet or something, to get it nice and burnt-ish....either that, or boil it halfway, then toss on bbq.

P.S-If you like the fat/grease, then dont poke holes in it, to not allow it to all pour out.

Edit: Goes well if you wrap in turkey bacon.

just dont forget to poke them, to allow all the fat to pour out.

In order of preference:
  1. Charcoal grilled
  2. On a stick, over open fire
  3. Gas grilled
  4. Oven broiler
  5. Toaster oven
  6. Anything BUT boiled!
