Best way to wipe USB flash drives?

Looking for a way to securely erase USB flash drives.

Depending on your level of paranoia:
1. Reformat it with a different file system, then back to the one it normally has.
2. Search any shareware site for disk wiping tools that will zero out every sector. There are a million of them.

You can also physically destroy them. They're cheap enough to replace on occasion (if you keep to 4GB and under).

Five to seven seconds on HIGH in the microwave. If it smokes sooner, STOP as you should not breathe flashsmoke.

This, in its destructive write all/read all test mode, will wipe anything off a flash drive. run it a bunch of times if youre paranoid.
