Best way to upgrade to Win2K & still dual boot?

I have a nice solid Win98 install, can I simply stick Win2k on a empty partition? Will I be able to dual boot using FAT32 for both partitions?

If I decide to not dual boot and instead go with just Win2k, what is the best way to get my data from my win98 image to the new win2k image.

Any suggestions or websites with tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can install Windows 2000 on the other partition and not affect your Windows 98 install. However, if you want to upgrade to Windows 2000 from 98, just insert the CD, and click on YES when prompted if you want to upgrade to Windows 2000. That's it. I have installed Win2k over 98 just fine with very little issues.

However, I would make sure you have the Windows 2000 drivers for all of your hardware and that they are listed on the Windows 2000 HAL.
