I have a raid 1 NAS with 2x1TB drives. I'm running out of room so I want to upgrade to 2TB drives. What's best way of doing this without loosing any data? Thanks all
First, you will want to verify that your NAS will support the larger drives. Second, it would be helpful if you told us what kind of NAS you have (Manufacturer & Model) becasue they are all pretty much different beasts.
An equivalent question would have been: how do install <insert name of something> into my "car"?

The "best way" is...
* Keep the data on your D-Link NAS
* Buy a couple of 2TB WD HDs
* Buy a DroboPro and install the 2TB HDs
* Copy the data from the D-Link to the DroboPro
1. confirm new drive compatibility
2. scan new hdds full scan for any defects
3. remove one of the 1TB drives and replace with 2TB. this will break the raid1 and turn it into JBOD mode.
4. the nas will format the 2TB. once complete, transfer all files to the 2TB.
5. remove remaining 1TB and replace with 2TB
6. nas will format second 2TB
7. enable raid1 in nas setup page
8. nas will likely reboot and then begin copying the disk image
