I recently went on vacation to Switzerland to visit my cousin. She hooked me up with some money while I was there and now I want to get about $700 back to her. I went to my bank, Bank of America, and they want to charge $45 to wire the money to her bank account and have a rate slightly lower than what is reported to google(1 dollar is 1.17 CHF to them on google its 1.22).

What is the easiest way for me to get the money into her bank account?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Does she have to have a paypal account as well? I'm not sure how comfortable she would be with entering her bank stuff into it.

I think the one you mentioned is the easiest and safest. you just have to eat those add'l. fees and low exchange rate. Unless, you want to send her cash.

You could transfer money through western union though I'm not sure how much they charge.

Do you want cheapest -or- easiest/fastest? Pick one.

Cheapest - Call BOFA and order a foreign draft in CHF currency. Then mail it via USPS First-Class Mail® International for around $0.90

Easiest/Fastest - International wire transfer can get your money to Switzerland within 24 business hours (USD) or 48 hours (CHF). If you decide to go this route you will need your cousin's bank name, SWIFT code, branch address, account name and 21 digit IBAN.
