My professors put class presentations up on a server before each class so we can follow along. These notes constantly get updated and refined, so a couple of times a day I use HTTrack to sync a local copy of the folders, and I've always got the most up to date version of every file.
The problem with this is that any notes I take within Powerpoint will obviously be removed any time an update to the server copy is made because the file on my end just gets replaced.
My "solution" was to just give up taking notes on the computer and have been going back to pen and paper. There were definitely advantages to making my notes and drawings right on the presentation, and I'm wondering if anyone else has come up with a system that works best for them.
